We are here to serve

What Are We Doing Now?

Latest News

Servants Health Centre has been open since January 2010

Our hours are 9am to 4pm.

The last four years has seen great progress for this mission as many, many people seek to follow our God and serve others.

We have a high standard office at 100 Princes Street, Dunedin, from which we provide our care.

We have made many contacts with churches, with social support organisations like Presbyterian Support, and with other health agencies, so that we can integrate holistic care.

We have doctors, nurses and receptionists willing to cover much of the time we wish to be open.

Now we are making ourselves known, to those we wish to serve, and we patiently offer our time.

News from 2010

  • Last year was one for exciting developments and consolidation!
  • We took on the care of over 400 regular patients, and saw over 600 casual visitors.
  • Counselors, volunteering their time, see clients on many days of the week.
  • We received many generous donations in addition to earning Primary Health Funding. This has allowed us to pay our operating expenses.
  • Through wonderful support from the Mercy Charitable Trust, we were able to employ a front-desk person who has the skills to greet and manage each person coming through our doors.
  • We then used our own funding to employ a further part-time office worker.
  • These paid workers provide a solid base to our Centre and are crucial support to the volunteers who serve.
